“A man in a red shirt is leaning against him on a wall outside. or imagine a man in a blue shirt is leaning against a wall. I once observed a woman in a red coat takes a picture near marble columns at twilight.”
This is a review of the art piece “When I woke up in the morning, the feeling was still there 4” by Angus Fairhurst, made by a computer. It’s one of the multiple examples gathered by Matthew Plummer-Fernandez in the tumblr “Novice Art Blogger“. He coded together with deep learning algorithms a program to analyse art pieces. It’s interesting to see how a computer can come up with a completely new perception. Details that are often irrelevant are highlighted, but sometimes, creativity comes from this kind of collisions.
