Excavation est un branding peu commun pour un musée d’archéologie, mais le graphic designer Morey Talmor a su donner un caractère unique à cette institution avec un mélange d’inspiration de symbole primitif, de grec ancien et d’Art Déco, un cocktail détonnant qui apporte un peu de fraîcheur à ce domaine. Chaque catégorie d’exposition a été codée avec ses propres couleur et symbole qui sont utilisés tout au long de l’identité. La typographie a été spécialement conçue pour l’occasion.

Excavation is an unusual branding for a museum of archeology, but the graphic designer Morey Talmor has given to the institution a unique face with a mixt of of inspiration from primitive symbol, ancient Greek and Art Deco. An explosive cocktail that brings a little freshness to this area. Each exhibition category was coded with its own color and symbol that are used throughout the identity. The typeface was designed for the occasion.
